"Doam" or "Dom" (B-Grade) bricks are medium-quality clay bricks widely used in standard masonry. While they lack the premium shape and compressive strength of Awal (First-Class) bricks, they are a practical, cost-effective choice for general load-bearing walls, sub-structures, and internal partitions. Key Characteristics of B-Grade (Doam) Bricks: Shape & Finish: Slightly irregular edges and inconsistent colors compared to perfectly uniform A-grade bricks. Water Absorption: Tends to absorb more water (usually 15-20% of their weight) compared to premium bricks. Sound & Strength: Emit a decent, though not always sharp, ringing sound when struck together. Suitable for 1-2 story residential structures. Key Features: Perfect to use as a foundation and base. Brings stability and wearability. Inexpensive material to use in bulk.
