Description
Crush Sargodha 1/2 Full (B Grade) refers to a specific type of premium crushed stone/gravel (locally known as bajri) sourced from the Sargodha quarries in Pakistan, widely used in construction and infrastructure. A breakdown of exactly what each term means: Crush / Sargodha Crush: Refers to crushed rock aggregates known for high structural strength, durability, and consistent dark/gray color. It is highly prized across Pakistan, especially for house foundations and concrete pouring (lintels). 1/2 Size (Half Inch): The physical grading or size of the stones. It means the stones are processed and screened to be approximately 1/2 inch (12.5mm) in diameter, which is the standard, ideal size for concrete mixing and roof casting. Full: Also referred to as "1/2 down" in the industry, this means the mix includes a complete spectrum of stones ranging from 1/2 inch down to fine dust, ensuring it packs tightly when compressed. B Grade: Refers to the grading of the stone quality. While A Grade is the highest quality (often purer, washed, and completely free of clay or soft stone), B Grade is a slightly more affordable alternative. It is still structurally strong enough for general foundation, flooring, and road-building applications but may contain minor impurities or have a higher variance in stone size. Usage in Construction: Because of its compactability (due to the "full" grading of sizes ranging from 1/2 inch to smaller particles), this mix is highly valued for: Building robust and stable house foundations Sub-base and base courses in road construction Floor base preparation (kacha flooring) Key Features: Cost-efficient option for low budgets. Good compressive strength Appropriate to medium construction requirements.
